Halloween festivities begin Friday, October 26th, and continue through Wednesday, October 31st. Below is a list of where to go and what to do to celebrate the occasion.
Friday, October 26th:
The Haunted College at Edison State College Charlotte Campus is designed for children 12 and younger.
Haunted College begins at 5:30 p.m. and features a variety of rooms sponsored by various campus clubs and organizations. The two-hour event will include airbrush tattoos, games, free candy and photo opportunities.
Kids Halloween fun Night Ages five to eleven years. An evening of fun and games. Halloween crafts, costume themed face painting, and games. This event will be held from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Vineyards Community Park, 6231 Arbor Blvd., Naples Cost is $12. For more information, call (239) 353-9669.
Halloween Trunk-or-Treat and Haunted Forest Ages one year and older. A car-to-car, trick-or-treat with ?safe? car neighbors. Also, a haunted forest to walk through. This event will be held from 6:30pm- 9:00pm at the Max Hasse Community Park, 3390 Golden Gate Blvd. W., Naples Cost is $2. For more information, call (239) 348-7500.
Halloween Costume Dance A safe, non-scary evening of fun, games, and entertainment. Costume contest with prizes for all ages. This event will be held from 8:30pm-11:30pm at the Immokalee Sports Complex, 505 Escambia St., Immokalee Cost is $5. For more information, call (239) 657-1951.
"BOO" TACULAR CELEBRATION is a mini-carnival for families with children under 5 years of age at the Marco YMCA Gym from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A $5 donation is requested per child.
Haunted Gross House at the Collier County Fair begins October 26th and continues through the 31st. Horror movie villains will take over our 14,000 Square Foot house as they await you in one of our twelve rooms of terror. The Haunted House with take guest through famous horror movie scenes, haunted attics, black light rooms, and a graveyard finale. This year?s event is built as a family venue with carnival rides and games for all ages. Guests will have an option to enjoy the carnival rides and games or dare to enter the Haunted Gross House.
Admission will be free for families to enter the event, once inside guest can purchase an armband for unlimited rides and admission into the haunted house. Proceeds raised for the event will benefit our Life?s Not Fair Foundation.
The Pumpkin Patch extravaganza, located at Lakes Regional Park, will take place from Oct. 19 th - Oct. 30th. Expect a bounce house, hay rides, ghoulish games for kids, train rides, inflatable super slide, a haunted maze, spectacular displays, and a whole host of other family activities geared for the occasion. There will also be bikes, scooters and boats available for rent so you can go on a park exploration. A full menu of great hot dogs, hamburgers, ice-cream and more will be available to satisfy your every craving.?
Saturday, October 27th:
Monster Mash Dance Party ? a seasonal celebration featuring family-friendly activities, will take place from?from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Parents and caregivers are invited to bring their children to the mall for an afternoon of fun, including make-and- take crafts, costume contest hosted by a DJ playing music for the family. The mall also will host Trick- or-Treating for kids throughout the center during the event. It will take place near the Children?s Play Area from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Event activities include Halloween-themed crafts and games for families. Kids ages 2 ? 12 are welcome and encouraged to wear costumes for the contest and learn the moves to the Monster Mash Dance. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All activities are free. Prizes and crafts are while supplies last.
Join the Haunted Walk by Pumpkin King Productions will be held from 6pm-9:30pm at the Depot Park (10450 Reynolds Street), located just behind Riverside Park in Bonita Springs, as they take you on a twisted tour through the movies. You have seen all your favorite horror films; now lets see if you can survive them! All proceeds to benefit the Bonita Springs Assistance Office. The Downtown Ft. Myers Halloween Party will be held from 4:00pm-11:00pm. This includes a car show from 4:00pm-8:00pm, Trick-or-Treating from 6:00pm-8:00pm (the roads will be closed until 8pm), and a costume contest. Judgign will take place inside the HOWL Gallery from 8:00pm- 10:30pm There will be over $500 in prizes and trophies for the best, scariest and funniest costumes. The contest is for ages 16 and up. Group and solo entries accepted. There will also be psychic readings at Browtopia starting at 7pm, tarot readings at Spirits of Bacchus starting at 8pm, live rockabilly by Memphis '56 and Halloween music on Patio De Leon at 8pm. There will also be live bands at the Cigar Bar, City Tavern, Twisted Vine, Spirits of Bacchus and more!
The City of Fort Myers Recreation Division invites you & your family to TRUNK & TREAT outside the Fort Myers Aquatic Center at 7:00pm. Join us for a fun, community event offering a safe alternative to Halloween traditions. Bring the kids in costume and trick-or-treat from car to car or join in on the festivities by becoming a "Trunker." Trunkers arrive early, park and decorate your trunk with your favorite decorations, then hand out goodies to the kids! TRUNK & TREAT also features holiday themed games, a bounce house, special guests, face painting, and exciting prizes for winners of the "Best-Trunk" contest. Admission is ONLY $1; Trunkers and their passengers enter FREE!

"Trick or Treat" the Promenade at Cape Harbour! Have the kids dress up and show off their outfits from 5pm to 7pm. The merchants will have treats on ?Halloween Night? also from 5pm to 8pm! Wednesday, October 31st:
HOWL-erlujah Trunk or Treat begins at 6 p.m. in the parking lot of First Baptist Church of Fort Myers Beach, referred to by many as Beach Baptist. The event will feature free hotdogs, popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy, drinks, a bounce house and tons of candy. Vehicles will be decorated and displayed in the parking lot, hence the ?trunk? in trunk-or-treat.
Halloween Spooktacular on Fifth? from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. is part of the Fall CityFEST celebration. This ghoulish event will kick-off with children?s activities from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., including trick-or-treating at Fifth Avenue businesses and the Shamrock Bank kid?s costume contest. The evening will continue from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with the fabulous adult costume contest, the Pucci and Catana pet costume contest, live music, a street dance, a giant movie screen, and activities for kids and adults.
